One of the big upsides of smart locks and app technology is the amount of detailed data that is generated. Understanding this data is a great tool to help improve your business to serve your customers better, reduce costs, and increase revenues.
The data generated by the X.bike platform can be divided into four main categories:
- Bike usage data
- Location data
- Customer data
- App interaction
Bike usage data
- Time in use by customer
- Time on the street vs in storage/workshop
- Movements between parking spots.
- Revenue per bike
Location data
Obviously this includes the time spent at parking spots. Location data can be used track pause locations.
